As the visionary founder and Country Manager of Swavu Ltd., Denis built the company from the ground up into a thriving import enterprise capable of handling multiple containers each month. Under his leadership, Swavu Ltd. has become a key player in Rwanda's import industry, demonstrating exceptional operational excellence and strategic acumen.
In his previous role as Business Development Manager at Radiant Yacu Insurance Company and Regional Manager at SOLARKIOSK AG, Denis showcased his ability to devise and implement impactful strategies, establish vital partnerships, and expand market presence. His career journey began as a Business Analyst at Africa Foresight Group and as a Mobile Sales Representative at Best Buy, where he honed his skills in data-driven decision-making and customer relations.
Denis's diverse experience, spanning over a decade in FMCG, retail import, and export distribution, underscores his proven capability to lead, innovate, and drive business success in emerging markets. Murasa is an accomplished business strategist with over 15 years of experience in Entrepreneurship, business advisory, export, finance, strategic management, and resource mobilization. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations optimize resources and implement strategies that drive sustainable growth and market expansion.
Evary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Finance, along with Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Export Advisory certifications, equipping him with a strong foundation in financial management and international trade. His educational background, combined with his extensive work and entrepreneurial experience, has made him a highly effective leader in the business world.
Evary's career includes significant roles in both consulting and leadership. He spent 4 years as a Business Consultant at Karisimbi Business Partners, where he advised clients on business strategy, export development, and financial planning. He then served as the Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors at SOLARKIOSK Rwanda for 7 years, leading the company to success in providing solar energy solutions, FCMG’s, telecommunication and financial services across Rwanda. Additionally, Evary was the Founder and CEO of TOPNOTCH Travels Ltd for 4 years, where he grew the company into a reputable car rental, travel and tourism business.
Evary’s entrepreneurial journey and leadership roles have honed his ability to mobilize resources, manage cross-functional teams, and develop strategies that deliver measurable results.
